First of all for my 8 year old this is ideal, it is a big step up from the 7 inch model aimed at an older child user. It comes with the same great no fuss, replacement program that gives great piece of mind. We had two of the 7 inch models replaced without question under this guarantee. The years kids+ also provides nearly everything your child might want in the way of games, books and educational apps.
Screen quality is fantastic, sounds is good and this model has a built in YouTube app which the smaller models lack. The only thing I would complain about is the lack of google play store which means some classic staple popular android apps are not available.
Fantastic parental controls keeps your kids safe online allowing parents to control how much or how little your child can access. A huge leap up from the smaller screen size Amazon tablets that do seem very sluggish by comparison. Look for it in the sales as it is frequently reduced in price to around £140 just on time for Xmas ordering. A definite recommendation for a budget friendly, feature packed childrens tablet with no nonsense, no questions asked two year replacement program if your kids do break it.

Initially bought for my youngest child as she was always asking to use the older children’s IPads.
Well I will never look back, the service is second to none from Amazon we’ve had the older version also and when it came to replacing it because of an issue no problem at all!
This new improved version is fantastic, does everything you would need it to and more.

I was looking after the grandchildren for a couple of weeks so bought them one each to have at my home when they visit.
Great item! Kept them quiet when needed! Perfect for a reward. Wouldn’t let them on them for too long of course, however tempting it was! Also then I knew I had a 7 hr drive returning them home!
